A bid is a choice, not a purchase button.

Game credits make an impossible-item auction possible without turning the item into a real-money investment.

SlopMart is a social game about specific imaginary items. A bid or fixed-price purchase is a decision by another person to spend marketplace credits on one item with a name, creator, and history. It is not a claim that the image is scarce or that a virtual object has a cash price. The public website illustrates this idea; its sample prices and bids are not live market activity.

What are marketplace credits?

Marketplace credits are an in-app balance for virtual auctions, SHOP purchases, and deals. They are not money, cryptocurrency, a redeemable token, or an investment. A credit figure on a sample listing shows how an app screen reads; it is not an offer to buy anything on this website.

The server keeps the authoritative balance and decides whether a bid or purchase is valid. The app can show available credits and credits held by active bids, but it cannot create a winning bid by changing a number on a screen. Available market credits can also contribute to AI generation if creation-only resources are insufficient, so creating a draft may change what remains available for a bid. The creation resources and market credits guide shows the distinction with a fictional example. Optional AI creation packs are separate: they add non-transferable creation capacity and cannot fund bids or SHOP purchases.

What is the difference between Auctions and SHOP?

QuestionAuctionsSHOP
How is the price set?The seller chooses a starting price and duration; real users can raise the bid.The seller sets one fixed price.
When are credits committed? The leading amount is held while the bid leads, then settled through checkout. The fixed price is checked and transferred in one server-controlled purchase.
Can two people get the item? No. One valid winner continues to checkout.No. A server transaction allows one buyer and rejects a later race.
What happens next? The exact item enters the same fictional shipment, unboxing, ownership, review, and relisting loop.

One item cannot be active in an auction and SHOP at the same time. Relisting creates a new market offer without erasing the item's creator or ownership history.

What happens when someone bids?

An auction has a current price, a minimum next bid, and an end time. The bidder chooses an amount; the service checks the auction state, seller-bidder separation, deadline, minimum increment, and available balance. If the bid is accepted, the amount is held while that person leads. If someone else takes the lead, the earlier hold is released.

These rules matter because a marketplace needs real choices and balanced accounting. AI can help draft item art and copy, but an AI buyer is never presented as a real person creating demand.

What does the buyer receive?

A winning bid or SHOP purchase creates a virtual checkout for the exact item shown in the listing. The seller then performs a fictional shipping ritual. There is no real parcel or physical delivery charge. If the item changes hands again, its stable identity and ownership record stay attached.

The item's meaning inside the game comes from the people who chose it and the story they built around it. It does not grant exclusive rights to an AI-generated image, and opening a parcel does not reveal a random prize. Read how virtual delivery and unboxing work and how ownership and relisting work.

Can visitors bid or buy on this website?

No. Visitors can explore the illustrated market and product explanation on the SlopMart homepage, but this website does not accept bids, SHOP purchases, payments, or shipments. Actual app availability should be checked through official store pages once they exist.
