These Terms of Service govern the SlopMart website and connected SlopMart app features when available. SlopMart is a social game about impossible virtual items. The website currently presents the concept and sample content; it does not accept live bids or payments. Read the Privacy Policy for data handling.
The essentials. People make the selling, bidding, and buying decisions. Items, marketplace credits, parcels, and delivery are virtual. No physical item is sent, and marketplace credits are not money, cryptocurrency, or a promise of cash value. Optional paid AI creation capacity is separate from the marketplace economy.
Agreement and eligibility
These Terms are between you and Tortuga Co & Development, TOO, the Kazakhstan-based operator of SlopMart (“we,” “us,” or “our”). If an account flow asks you to accept the Terms, you must read and accept the version presented before using connected features. You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required in your country or by the applicable storefront. If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and permit your use of the service. You must be permitted to use the service under applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights in your location remain available.
What SlopMart provides
The product lets real users create fictional items, list them in auctions or the fixed-price SHOP, trade with marketplace credits, confirm a virtual deal, perform a fictional shipping ritual, follow virtual tracking, unbox the exact item, collect it, review a deal, and resell it. Features may be available only in a demo or limited test while the product is developed. The website’s named lots, users, bids, prices, and shipment sequence are examples, not active offers or transactions.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We will not present a simulation of AI buyers as real people.
Accounts and account security
Connected features may require sign-in with email or a supported Apple or Google account. Keep your credentials secure and do not use another person’s account. A pseudonymous handle may be displayed with your listings, bids, reviews, and an item’s ownership history. You are responsible for material you submit through your account, subject to applicable law.
Marketplace credits, Auctions, and SHOP
Marketplace credits are an in-service balance used for virtual bids, fixed-price SHOP purchases, and deals. They have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and are not a financial investment or cryptocurrency. The initial balance and ways to receive credits may change as the game is tested. We do not offer cash prizes or exchange virtual items for physical goods.
An auction shows the current price, minimum next bid, and end time. A placed bid can hold marketplace credits while it leads. If another person outbids you, that hold is released. A winning bid can result in a virtual checkout and transfer of the exact item. SHOP allows an available item to be bought once at its displayed fixed credit price. One item cannot be active in both market modes at the same time.
We may reverse or correct records affected by fraud, technical errors, abuse, or a required legal remedy, with notice where reasonably possible. No user may sell marketplace credits, accounts, or virtual items outside the authorized SlopMart experience.
Optional AI creation packs
Apple or Google in-app purchases may sell consumable packs that add non-transferable AI creation capacity. RevenueCat helps validate those store transactions. Creation capacity cannot fund marketplace bids or SHOP purchases, does not improve auction odds, cannot be transferred to another user, and has no cash value.
The store shows the current localized price and purchase terms before confirmation. Refunds, reversals, family-sharing eligibility, and payment handling are subject to the applicable store rules and SlopMart's disclosed crediting policy. Restoring a transaction does not duplicate a consumable pack that was already credited.
Fictional shipping and unboxing
There is no courier, real parcel, physical delivery address, or phone number involved in a SlopMart deal. After checkout, the seller may choose a virtual wrapper, complete a fictional waybill, and sign the handoff. Tracking events and delays are part of the game. If a seller does not complete the ritual, the service may resolve the deal automatically under the in-app rules.
Unboxing reveals the exact item instance chosen before checkout, with its identity intact. It is not a random loot box.
Your content and item history
You retain the rights you have in prompts, photos, text, comments, reviews, and other content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, process, display, reproduce, and adapt that content only as reasonably needed to provide SlopMart, run auctions and virtual delivery, moderate the marketplace, preserve item history, and show the content to users. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. AI-generated output may not be exclusive, and ownership of such output can depend on law and provider terms.
An item’s ID, creator, previous owners, sales, and reviews may remain attached as it is passed on. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or the law. Account deletion may leave a pseudonymous provenance trail where needed for the records of other users, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
AI suggestions
In the connected app, an optional text idea or ordinary-object photo can be processed by Google's Gemini and Vertex AI services to create an editable item image and listing draft. The original uploaded photo is deleted after the server reads it for generation; the generated item image may be stored and shown with a published lot. Suggestions are drafts for the creator to review and edit; they can be inaccurate, offensive, or similar to existing work. The local demo uses templates without sending a photo or prompt to an AI service. See the Privacy Policy for data handling.
Acceptable use
Do not use SlopMart to harass, threaten, defame, exploit, or impersonate anyone; publish hateful or illegal content; mock a real person without their permission; include personal contact details or real-world delivery information in lots, comments, waybills, or reviews; infringe another person’s rights; manipulate auctions; create fake accounts or automated bidding activity; or attack the service. A joke item is not a license to expose private information or harm someone.
Reports and moderation
Users can report a lot or a comment for offensive content, use of a real person, personal data, spam, or another issue. Reports may cause a listing to be cancelled or a comment to be hidden pending review. We may restrict content or accounts where necessary to protect users or comply with law. We do not guarantee that every report is reviewed instantly or that all problematic content will be prevented.
Availability and changes
The service is in development. Demo content may be reset and features can differ from the website preview. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular auction outcome, a fixed credit economy, or permanent access to a given feature. When optional AI creation packs are available, their current price, contents, and applicable store terms are shown before purchase. A mention in these Terms does not mean that a pack or app is publicly available in every region.
Suspension and account deletion
You can delete your account through the app where connected account deletion is available. Deletion removes the active sign-in account, profile, and wallet, and cancels open auctions owned by that account. Existing pseudonymous item and deal history may remain for provenance and other users’ records. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations. Our software and brand
SlopMart’s software, interface, brand, and original service materials belong to the operator or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you a license to copy the product or use the SlopMart name and marks outside ordinary use of the service. Your own content rights are addressed above.
Disclaimers and liability
SlopMart is an entertainment service, not a marketplace for physical goods or financial assets. AI suggestions, fictional tracking, and user-created descriptions are provided for entertainment and may be inaccurate. To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kazakhstan, subject to any mandatory protections that apply in your place of residence. Contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve a concern directly. A dispute may be brought in a competent court as provided by applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product changes. The updated date will appear on this page. Material changes affecting connected users will be communicated through the app or another suitable channel where required. A new version will not silently turn marketplace credits into real-money obligations.
