This glossary defines SlopMart terms as product mechanics, not as financial or physical-world claims. For the full sequence, start with the complete SlopMart guide.
Virtual item
A specific in-service object with an identity, creator, current owner, and ownership history. It may include AI-assisted art and text, but it is not a physical good, cryptocurrency, blockchain token, or claim of exclusive rights over every similar image.
Lot
A market offer for one identifiable virtual item. A lot contains the seller's chosen copy, price rules, duration or fixed price, and an item snapshot. In SlopMart copy, “lot” refers to the offer; “item” refers to the persistent object that may be collected and relisted.
Auction
A timed market mode in which real authenticated users place bids with marketplace credits. The seller cannot bid on their own lot. The leading amount is held until the bidder is outbid, the lot is validly cancelled, or the winning deal settles.
SHOP
The fixed-price market mode. Another real user can buy an available item immediately for the displayed marketplace-credit price. SHOP is not a real-money storefront for the virtual item, and one item cannot be active in SHOP and an Auction simultaneously.
Marketplace credits or game credits
Internal game balance used for bids, SHOP purchases, and virtual checkout. Credits have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and are not cryptocurrency. Optional paid AI creation capacity is separate and cannot fund marketplace trades.
AI-assisted creation
A drafting step in which AI may propose item art, title, description, category, and details from a person's idea or optional source photo. The creator reviews and edits the draft. Generation does not automatically publish a lot or create a buyer.
Fictional delivery
An in-app story after checkout: virtual packaging, a fictional waybill, tracking events, and a delayed handoff. It uses a username and game state rather than a real shipping address, courier, parcel, or customs process.
Exact-item unboxing
The reveal of the same identifiable item selected before checkout. It is not a random reward or loot box. Suspense comes from the fictional journey, not from concealing which item the buyer receives.
Ownership history
The in-service record of an item's creator and completed owner changes. It gives one item continuity across collection and relisting. It is not a public blockchain and does not claim legal ownership of an underlying idea or every copy of an image.
Relisting
A current owner creating a new Auction or SHOP offer for the same eligible item. Relisting changes the offer, not the item's identity. Earlier creator and ownership records remain part of its story.
Official SlopMart account
A visibly labelled service-operated account that may publish examples or operate an official collection. It must not impersonate an ordinary user, place disguised bids, or manufacture social demand.
Public website preview
The current slopmart.app website explains the product and shows illustrative lots. It is not a live marketplace. Website examples are not evidence of active users, current inventory, completed trades, public store availability, ratings, or download counts.
